Why do we process your data?

In compliance with the principle of transparency, the ESDP informs you that in general, the personal data provided by filling out the relevant forms contained in the site are processed by the Association in order to contact you, answer your request or send you corporate information, and/or pre-register/register for training courses conducted by the ESDP.

If you are a user who uses the forms (contact, pre-registration for courses, etc.), and you have marked the available option, the ESDP may use your data to send you corporate information of the Association (news, course offerings, activities, etc.).

In those cases where it is necessary to fill out a form and click on the submit button, its completion will necessarily imply that you confirm that you have read and accepted this privacy policy.

In compliance with Law 34/2002, of July 11, 2002, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, (hereinafter LSSICE) the ESDP will not send you by email promotional or advertising communications that you have not authorized as a user of the Association. In addition, we inform you that in these referenced treatments we do not carry out exclusively automated decisions that may affect you in any way, nor are there any additional purposes to which your data may be destined.

What is the origin of your data?

As a rule, data processed by the ESDP have been provided by the interested party. In the case of providing data of third parties, you undertake to previously inform these persons of the intention to communicate their data to the ESDP and to obtain, if necessary, their prior, express and written consent for such data processing and any purposes for which they are to be processed.

As user, you must fill in the forms with true, accurate, complete and updated data, being informed at the same time of those data that must be filled in and the consequences of not doing so. Likewise, by accepting, you acknowledge that the information and personal data collected are accurate and truthful.

What is the legitimacy of the processing of your data?

For the groups of users whose data are processed by the ESDP, the legal basis for the processing is the consent of the data subject. However, for the group of ESDP volunteers, the legitimacy of the processing of their data is based on the collaborative relationship with the Association.

Regarding the group of students of ESDP courses, the legal basis that legitimizes the processing of their data is based on the contractual relationship signed as attendees of the course concerned.

The legal basis for sending promotional communications of activities and services of the ESDP addressed to most of the groups whose data are processed, is based on the legitimate interest of the organization, or on the consent given explicitly by the user.

Legitimate interest constitutes a legitimate basis for processing, provided that such interest in processing the data for the stated purpose is within reasonable expectations based on the relationship with ESDP.

Therefore, you should be aware that in certain cases, promotional communications of ESDP services are based on the legitimate interest of the organization (for example, for course students). However, you can object to receive this type of information at any time by sending an email to  escuelasalvamento@escuelasalvamento.org without this opposition conditioning, in any way, your relationship with the Association.

In addition, the ESDP establishes mechanisms through which you can easily and free of charge deactivate the electronic communications services, following the instructions indicated in the corporate e-mails.

What personal data can we process?

The type of personal data that we use in these treatments are those provided by the interested party in the different registration forms, web forms and emails sent, in addition to those generated later during your relationship with the ESDP (as a volunteer, contact, collaborator, student, etc.).

In the ESDP in compliance with the principle of quality of information, we only process data that is adequate, relevant and limited to that which is necessary in relation to the purposes for which it is intended.

As user you must fill in the forms with true, accurate, complete and updated data, being informed of those data that must be filled in and the consequences of not doing so at the same time.

Likewise, as user, you are responsible for keeping your data permanently updated in the ESDP, and you must communicate, in writing, any modification regarding your data.

The ESDP does not knowingly collect information from underage children, nor does them allow their access to the website, since it is not addressed to this target group. We recommend that parents and/or guardians actively participate in supervising the activities of their minor children on Internet.

 

What is the data storage period?

In compliance with the limitation of the storage period principle, data collected by the ESDP are processed for necessary time and for specific purposes for which they were collected.

Therefore, in general terms, the ESDP will keep your data for the duration of the relationship with the organization (e.g. volunteers, collaborators or students), and thereafter for the purpose of fulfilling the legal obligations and responsibilities arising from such processing in accordance with the applicable regulations. At the end of these periods of limitation, your data will be deleted.

If you are a contact, the ESDP will keep your data for one year after the end of the last contact.

Moreover, with respect to the processing of data for promotional purposes, we will retain your data until we receive no opposition against it.

Data recipients

In general, we inform you that we do not share your data with any entity and/or person, unless the transfer of your data is necessary to ensure the maintenance of the relationship with the ESDP, as well as in the cases provided for by the regulations in force at any given time (for example, in the case of volunteers there are different data transfers: the transfer of the strictly necessary data to the insurance companies with which we collaborate to manage the insurance necessary for the performance of your tasks in the Association; in cases of national/international intervention of the ESDP, requested by any Public Administration, the transfer of your data to these competent Administrations is necessary for the purpose of monitoring and control of the action carried out; for trainings, trainings and activities carried out in the facilities of public and private entities, the strictly necessary data of the participating volunteer are communicated to such entities for the appropriate control and supervision of the activities carried out in their facilities, etc).

In case of communicating your data to third parties we will inform you and, if necessary, we will request your prior consent (for example, in the case of publishing photographs and videos of volunteers and students participating in ESDP activities on the website or social networks of the Association).

On the other hand, although they do not involve data transfers, for the different actions related to the treatments, the ESDP contracts with suppliers to provide us with certain services, and that may need access to your information; However, these suppliers manage the data with the unique purpose of providing the contracted service, following our instructions and without being able to use them for any other purpose.

There are no international transfers of your data (countries outside the Member States of the European Union).

Security and confidentiality in the processing of your data

The ESDP is committed to ensuring security and confidentiality in the processing of data, implementing appropriate technical and organizational measures according to the level of risk that such processing may pose to the rights and freedoms of persons whose data is processed.

The implementation of the necessary security measures is accompanied by a subsequent process of regular verification, evaluation and assessment of the effectiveness of such measures (continuous improvement to ensure secure data processing).

The maximum confidentiality in the processing of personal data is considered an unavoidable obligation by the ESDP, committing us to secrecy at any stage of its treatment, in accordance with the provisions of the applicable legislation.

What are your rights in relation to data processing?

Below, we identify the rights concerning personal data: information, access, rectification and deletion, limitation of processing, opposition and portability.

There is a right not to be subject to individualized decisions (including profiling), but it does not apply to the ESDP.

How can any of the above rights be exercised?

Given the confidential nature of the information, you will not be able to exercise your rights by telephone, since it means does not allow you to prove your identity as the owner of the registered data. Modification of the Privacy Policy
