ENG4VOL

The ENG4VOL project is an Erasmus+ initiative funded by the French National Agency and coordinated by Pompièrs de l’Urgence Internationale (PUI), under grant agreement number 2024-1-FR01-KA210-ADU-000250776.

The project brings together 4 partners from 4 European countries:

  • France: Pompièrs de l’Urgence Internationale (PUI)
  • Greece: Hellenic Rescue Team of Attica (HRTA)
  • Hungary: Search and Rescue Group of the Hungarian Reformed Church (MRSZ)
  • Spain: Spanish School for Rescue and Detection with Dogs (ESDP)
OBJECTIVES

ENG4VOL

ENG4VOL addresses the need to sustain long-term volunteer engagement in the field of civil protection. Volunteers play a crucial role as first responders in emergency and disaster situations.

Recognizing their importance, ENG4VOL focuses on:

  • Developing strategies to enhance volunteer motivation and commitment.
  • Sharing best practices and lessons learned in volunteer engagement.
  • Strengthening the capacity of civil society organizations to support their volunteer teams.

By promoting collaboration and knowledge exchange across Europe, ENG4VOL contributes to building resilient communities and better-prepared volunteer networks.

The project runs for 24 months, starting in September 2024 and ending in August 2026.
